Novy Manufacturing and Assembly Inc. was established in May 1979 by Erich and his son, Manfred, who served as partner and Vice President. Erich led the company as President until his retirement in April 1997, after which Manfred took the reins. Under his direction, Novy evolved into a specialized job shop, focusing on prototyping and custom machining for a variety of local industries.
In May 2015, a new chapter began when John Bairos joined Novy as a partner. This milestone marked significant growth, including a complete renovation of the facility, the addition of five new machines, and upgraded computer systems. These enhancements allowed us to deliver quicker lead times and improved service for our customers.
After nearly four decades of leadership, Manfred retired in April 2018, passing full ownership to John. The company was renamed Novy Manufacturing Inc., reflecting a renewed focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
In September 2018, Novy achieved ISO certification, reinforcing our commitment to quality and operational excellence.

After 39 years at Novy Manufacturing and Assembly Inc., Manfred retired on April 30, 2018. The company, now fully under John's direction, underwent a name change to Novy Manufacturing Inc.
In August 2023, Novy Manufacturing Inc. relocated to its new facility at 650 Weber Street North.
